Exhibition Info

Our 2018 Exhibtion Calendar is full, with the exception of SURFACE: Emerging Artists of New Mexico. A competitive statewide call for entries will be released in January.

Proposals for our 2019 Exhibition Calendar will be accepted January - March 31, 2018. 

Submissions

Proposals must be submitted by filling out our Online Proposal Form. Please do not send any proposals by email or snail mail; they will not be reviewed.

Proposals must be filled out and submitted online in a single session; they cannot be saved in progress. We suggest preparing your materials before you begin the form.

The following items are required to complete your proposal:

  • Artist Statement (150 words max)
  • Artist Bio (150 words max)
  • Statement about the subject of the work and the proposed exhibition. (250 words max)
  • Up to 5 images (JPEGs) of works that accurately represent the pieces or types of work that will be included in the proposed show.

Former Studio Artist


I was in Harwood’s very first show called Road To Chaos, organized by Jeff Kruger. My dog, Micro, was also in that show eating 30 hot dogs in a performance piece by Bryan Konefsky. I had two studios at two different times. The most recemt, I used the studio to do serigraphy with my collaborative friend Tom Loeb. LThe first time, I used the studio to make sculpture. Harwood has given me many opportunities to show my own art and curate shows about the work my community, Albuquerque makes.  My dog Pablo and I are in and out of Harwood’s doors a lot because I now live in the neighborhood.
