A note about our new camp registration software, CampDoc.com:

This year, Harwood Summer Art Camp is partnering with CampDoc.com to better serve our campers and staff. The security and privacy of your camper's health information is important to us. The CampDoc.com site is secure, encrypted, and password protected. Only Harwood Art Center administrative staff will have access to camper information. To read more about their security policies click here >

Once you sign up for a CampDoc account, you will be able to register your camper and make payments online. Afterwards, you will receive more information on how to complete your camper’s profile. We’re excited to let you know that your camper’s profile information will save from year-to-year, so once you complete it in CampDoc this season, you won’t have to start from scratch next year.

CampDoc  sends out periodic reminder emails for outstanding balances and incomplete profile information. These notifications will come from campdoc.com, so please add this to your safe sender list to avoid accidental delivery to junk and spam folders. We don’t want you to miss important notices about camp!

Please note that CampDoc supports the current and previous major releases of Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari which provide improved security and performance for profile information.

We are excited to continually improve, building safer, more productive and more efficient systems to create the best experience for you and your family!

HARWOOD STORIES

SUZANNE SBARGE
SUZANNE SBARGE

Former Director of Harwood

When I started the building was primarily a studio center for artists with very little public programming. The only staff members were the Building Manager Marshall Kovitz and me, and we were both part-time. I worked to expand the reach of Harwood through lots more exhibitions, classes and events, and the Harwood Summer Arts Camp. I focused on community involvement and marketing, which transformed Harwood from a mostly quiet studio center into a public venue that was always buzzing with activity.

I am grateful to the Harwood for launching my career in arts administration over 20 years ago and for serving as the umbrella for 516 ARTS in our first year.
